Tendering & Estimation Civil Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Tender Preparation & Coordination
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate with other departments.
- Cost Estimation & Analysis.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for civil works, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), pricing sheets, and cost summaries.
- Analyze rates and prices
- Technical & Commercial Review
- Evaluate tender specifications, design drawings, and contract conditions
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial bid proposals.
- Review and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure accuracy and scope alignment.
- Post-Tender Activities
- Support the negotiation process and provide technical clarifications during post-tender discussions.
- Prepare handover documents to the project operation team upon award.
- Maintain updated records of tender submissions, cost data, and historical pricing.
- Coordination and Communication
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and suppliers for technical queries and clarifications during tender stages.
- Collaborate with the planning and procurement departments to ensure accurate cost assumptions.
Qualifications:
▪ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
▪ Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years in tendering and estimation for civil projects.
